Our partner OPEN ENLoCC joined the Second Institutional Policy Dialogue organised by the Green Living Areas Mission, a key governance project funded by the Interreg Euro-MED Programme.
The workshop, held on 15-16 October in Brussels, gathered policy partners, thematic project, and other key Euro-Mediterranean stakeholders to exchange knowledge and develop strategies to enhance sustainable urban development in this region.
Four policy champions from GREENMO, LOGREENER, NUDGES and Bauhaus4MED projects were presented to the audience as innovative and comprehensive approaches to advancing a sustainable development in the Euro-MED area. The mobility hubs developed by City of Antwerp in the framework of the Smart Links project were also mentioned as a best practice in the field of urban logistics. Along with these, other climate policy instruments were presented, such as Green City Action Plan (Karlovac), Thessaloniki 2030 Climate Neutrality Plan, and Energy Communities in Catalonia.
As part of the Participative Policy Training Session – “Mind your message: how to effectively communicate sustainability policy”, MED COLOURS as joined the discussion sessions on the GREENMO strategy and the Thessaloniki 2030 Climate Neutrality Action Plan, to the project experience in the sustainable urban logistics practices, but also to gain news insights among the other stakeholders.
A great thanks to partners of the Green Living Areas mission and the POLIS network for the organization of the event.
