The MED COLOURS project is pleased to announce the Agenda of its Final Conference, taking place on 9 June 2026 in Brussels as a hybrid event, bringing together policymakers, urban planners, logistics experts and city representatives from across Europe and the Mediterranean area.
The event will provide an opportunity to present the main results achieved throughout the project and discuss future pathways towards more sustainable, resilient and zero-emission urban logistics systems.
Hosted at Comet Louise in Brussels and accessible online for remote participants, the conference will focus on practical tools, innovative pilot actions and strategic planning approaches supporting the transition towards greener urban freight systems and Sustainable Urban Logistics Plans (SULPs).
Throughout the day, participants will have the opportunity to engage with:
- presentations of the MED COLOURS Guidelines for Resilient Urban Logistics Planning;
- roundtables dedicated to the development of Sustainable Urban Logistics Plans in Mediterranean cities;
- panel discussions on innovative urban logistics solutions and pilot actions;
- exchanges on long-term urban transition scenarios towards zero-emission freight systems.
The conference will feature contributions from representatives of project partners, municipalities, research organisations and logistics stakeholders, encouraging peer-to-peer dialogue and knowledge exchange on sustainable urban freight solutions.
The MED COLOURS Final Conference represents an important moment to reflect on the project’s achievements and explore how collaborative approaches, innovative governance models and data-driven tools can support Mediterranean cities in reaching EU decarbonisation goals.
